1. General
The Retailer undertakes to protect the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of all online store users. All collected personal data shall be used by the Retailer exclusively for the services provided. The Retailer shall respect the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of users of the online store, and shall do everything necessary to protect them from any violations and misuse. User personal data is among the areas to which the Retailer pays extreme care and attention, being fully aware of the sensitive nature of this area.
2. Use of Personal Data
For the purposes of providing the services, the Retailer collects, manages, processes and stores the following user data:
- name and surname;
- delivery address;
- company or name of the legal entity (if the User is a legal entity);
- VAT ID number of the legal entity (if the User is a legal entity);
- e-mail address (username);
- password in encrypted form;
- contact telephone number;
- country of residence;
- other data that the User enters voluntarily in the online store forms;
- other data that the User adds later voluntarily in his or her profile.
The Retailer is not responsible for the correctness, completeness and up-to-dateness of the data entered by Users.
3. Cookies and IP Addresses
At the beginning of each use of the online store, the Retailer assigns a cookie to identify, monitor the shopping cart and ensure traceability, which is stored in the server’s memory only for the duration of the online store visit and is deleted after one hour of inactivity. The Retailer may also store certain permanent cookies on the User’s personal computer, such as the User’s identification number in encrypted form for identification on the next visit to the online store or evaluation of items, which help the User know which items have already been evaluated, and, indirectly, Google Analytics external cookies used to analyse website visits. The Retailer may use this data in an anonymised summary form for statistical analysis purposes. For the purposes of ensuring online security, the Retailer also collects IP addresses from which users access the online store.
4. Protection of Confidentiality of User Personal Data and Privacy
In accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, the Retailer is obliged to protect the personal data of all online store users. Under no circumstances shall the Retailer provide personal or any other information to a third party without the User’s express permission or allow a third party to inspect personal or other information unless required to do so by the relevant state authorities, when such an obligation is established by the law or there is a reason to believe that such action is necessary for proceedings before a court or other state authorities, and to protect and pursue the Retailer’s legitimate interests.
All personal and other data provided by the User when logging in to the online store, as well as when ordering products, including the content of orders, shall be protected in accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data. The Retailer shall not use this information for any purpose that would harm the User or any other person involved. The Retailer shall not use User data to send promotional e-mail or other unsolicited promotional material, except for sending those promotional notifications to which the User has subscribed or to which the User has agreed. The Retailer may use this data in an anonymised summary form for statistical analysis purposes. The confidentiality of personal and other user data shall not be violated in any way.
The Retailer shall only provide the delivery service (eg. Pošta Slovenije, DHL, UPS, etc.) with the necessary information for the delivery of the products purchased in the online store (information on the recipient and delivery address). The Retailer shall contact the User via e-mail if this proves necessary to make a purchase in the online store, and via the contact telephone number only if problems were to arise during the process of registration or during the purchase process in the online store.
5. Privacy Policy Implementation
All the Retailer’s full-time or part-time employees who have access to personal and other user data are aware of the obligation to protect personal and other data and are obliged to comply with the provisions on the protection the confidentiality of personal data and privacy of online store users. The obligation to protect personal and other data is valid indefinitely, even after the termination of the collaboration with the Retailer.
Registered users can stop using the online store and cancel their registration at any time. They do this by notifying the Retailer in writing about their decision to cancel the registration. Before submitting the cancellation of registration, users must settle any outstanding obligations related to the purchases made in the online store. The Retailer shall protect online store users’ confidentiality of personal data and their privacy within the framework of this Privacy Policy even in if they cancel their registration.
